door lock St Louis

rocketlockstlouis2

Smart key locks are often damaged due to worn keys or copies that are not true. The types of wafers used in these locking systems are small and prone to bending and jamming, therefore rendering the lock inoperable with a key. The most common cause is a key that is not true, this may be caused by a poorly copied key or simply wear to the key over a period of time. Always make sure to try your copies after having them made, if you encounter any resistance while turning the key that does not feel normal, stop right there and do not force the key to turn any farther. Further turning will only result in a high likelihood of bending one or more of these wafers and rendering your lock inoperable. Return the copies from where you got them and let them know the problem you are having.

Trouble doesn’t always knock on your door and ask permission to enter. In most cases, it pounces on you unexpectedly and you’re left to deal with it at odd hours of the day. While sometimes, you can afford to wait until a more reasonable time, it’s not always possible if you’re locked out of your home or your car. At Rocket Locksmith, we offer emergency locksmith services to all our St Louis area clients. Therefore, if you need a locksmith to open your door lock, all you need to do is call us.
